Privacy Policy

Last updated October 7, 2026

This page explains what data the Hungry Raptor mobile game (Android, living.developer.hungryraptor) and this website process, why, and how you can control it.

What the game stores

Your progress (unlocked levels, stars, high scores, bones, upgrades, skins, settings) is stored on your device. The game has no accounts of its own, and we, the developer, do not receive this data.

Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes the copy on your device.

Google Play Games: cloud saves, leaderboards and achievements

If you use Google Play Games, the game signs you in with your Play Games profile (returning players are signed in automatically) and saves a copy of your progress to your Google account, so it survives a new phone or a reinstall. Your scores are sent to the game’s leaderboards and your achievements to your profile. Other players may see your Play Games name and scores, depending on your Play Games visibility settings.

This data is processed by Google under its privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can delete the game’s cloud data or your whole Play Games profile in the Google Play Games settings or in your Google account.

Google AdMob ads

The game shows ads through Google AdMob: a short full-screen ad between levels (after every third level) and rewarded videos only when you choose to watch one (for example, to continue a level with an extra life). The ads SDK starts at launch (unless you bought “No ads”) and loads ads in the background. To serve, measure and protect ads, Google may process your device’s advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device information and ad interaction data. Ads are limited to family-friendly content (up to the PG rating).

Learn how Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings under Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads).

Google Analytics for Firebase

The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is played and to improve it: which screens and levels are opened, whether a level is won or lost, how often ads are shown or chosen, how often players open the “No ads” offer, and what they spend bones on. With these events Google receives an app instance ID, the advertising ID (if your consent and Android settings allow it), device model, Android version, language, approximate location derived from the IP address and session times. We only see this data in aggregated reports and never link it to your name or email.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, your choice in Google’s consent form (Settings → Privacy options) also decides whether this data may be used for advertising. Analytics event data is deleted after 2 months, and user-level data 14 months after your last session. How Google uses this data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Consent (GDPR and UK GDPR)

Users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see Google’s consent form (UMP) at launch and choose whether ads may be personalised. Until you answer it, the game does not request ads. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options.

We rely on your consent for personalised ads and on our legitimate interest for running and protecting the game and this website.

Purchases and ratings

The optional one-time “No ads” purchase is processed by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details: Google Play only tells the game whether the purchase is owned, and the game checks this at launch, so the purchase is restored after a reinstall. Google’s payments privacy notice: https://payments.google.com/payments/apis-secure/get_legal_document?ldo=0&ldt=privacynotice

From time to time the game may ask you to rate it in Google Play’s own rating window. Your rating and review go to Google Play under your Google account; the game does not receive them.

What we do not collect

The game asks only for internet access, network status, vibration and Google Play billing. It has no chat and does not access your contacts, photos, microphone or precise location.

If you allowed Android to share usage and diagnostics, Google Play may send us anonymous crash reports.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and deletion

We do not keep game data on our own servers. Data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Cloud saves stay in your Google account until you delete them. Google keeps advertising data according to its own retention policy; analytics event data is deleted after 2 months and user-level data 14 months after your last session. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR), you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to its processing, withdraw your consent and complain to your local data protection authority. To use these rights, contact us. Data held by Google can also be managed at https://myaccount.google.com.

Google and Vercel may process data in the United States and other countries, with safeguards required by law.

This website

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps technical request logs (IP address, browser) to run and protect the service.

We store your chosen theme in your browser (localStorage) and your language in a cookie (NEXT_LOCALE). The browser version of the game keeps its progress in localStorage too. Fonts are served from this site. The site sets no advertising cookies.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and collects no personal data: page views and actions (such as tapping the Google Play button or starting the game) are recorded anonymously and in aggregate.

If you subscribe to updates, your email is passed to our mailing service and kept only to tell you about new games. Unsubscribe with the link in any email or by contacting us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
